This study aims to explore whether S. mansoni may respond to and/or influence the host environment. We co-cultured S. mansoni with mammalian cell lines and analysed transcriptomes of the parasites. This new study is set up to perform RNA-seq on the co-cultured cell lines in order to investigate the effects that the parasites may have on the cells and to further understand the environment which the parasites were exposed to. This data is part of a pre-publication release.
