VPRS 11802 Traders Executive Records [Records Not Transferred]

Under Section 53 of the Electricity Industry Act 1993, the SECV Office of the Administrator established a Trading Division responsible for energy trading associated with the Interconnection Operating Agreement, output of the Loy Yang B power station and the Snowy and Hume hydroelectric schemes, and supply to the Portland and Point Henry aluminium smelters in 1996. In consultation with the Treasurer, an Executive Committee was established by the Administrator to oversee the business and affairs of the trading division and report to Government, via the Administrator, on trading positions.This series consists of files concerning the establishment and activities of the Traders Executive Committee. The files contain various documents, including correspondence and memos, agendas and schedules, membership lists, working papers and minutes, notcices of meetings, reports and decisions, and implementation action taken, that reflect core functions of the Administrator.
