FROM THE GREAT SILK ROAD TO THE MODERN GLOBAL LOGISTICS SYSTEM: HISTORICAL EVOLUTION AND PRESENT SIGNIFICANCE

The article also compares the initial forms of mechanics and technologies used in the field of logistics and their current manifestations, and discusses the most optimal ways and methods of the logistics sector. The geographical expansion of logistics through the Great Silk Road and the historical methods of such key tasks as climate-friendly transportation, monitoring, control and management are introduced.
