Reproducible Research Platform CAD Player Bundle Reproducible Research Platform project including support for engineering and computer aided design (CAD). Overview This RRP project repository demonstrates how to perform engineering work to create CAD files for e.g. additive or CNC manufacturing and rapid prototyping. The main outcome of this example is: Extended CAD file (step) Features Integration with RRP and openBIS ELN--LIMS: Mounts data form the RDMS openBIS in RRP. CAD design: Collaborative work on CAD files. Installation Prerequisites Local Docker installation. Steps Download and extract the .zip file Run the play script for your operating system Linux / macOS: play Windows: play.bat or play.ps1 Usage Workflow Overview Mount CAD file: Upload or mount a CAD file e.g. STEP file. Edit CAD file: Edit CAD file collaboratively or in a reproducible manner e.g. using a Python Jupyter notebook. 3D print: Send file for 3D printing.
