AgeDB contains 16,488 images of various celebrities including actors/actresses, writers, scientists, politicians, etc. Each image is annotated with identity, age and gender attributes. A total of 568 distinct subjects are included, with an average of 29 images per subject. The minimum and maximum ages are 1 year and 101 years, respectively, and the average age span per subject is 50.3 years. As demonstrated by a series of experiments leveraging state-of-the-art algorithms, this unique characteristic makes AgeDB well-suited for tasks including age-invariant face verification, age estimation _x0002_tion, and in-the-wild face age progression.
