Metabarcoding study of soil fungi following wildfire. Soil fungi - ITS

Aim of the study was to investigate the effects of wildfire severity on soil fungal communities and investigate the ecology of pyrophilous fungi immediately following disturbance. Soil exposed to four severity levels and adjacent unburnt soils was collected from the mineral and surface layers four times within 10 months of burning.
