Association of IL-23/IL-17 Pathway-related gene polymorphisms with idiopathic Scleritis in Chinese Han population

The study investigate the association between polymorphisms in genes related to the IL-23/IL-17 pathway and the susceptibility to scleritis. Clinical characteristics, age, and gender data were collected from scleritis patients and healthy controls. Genotype analysis for SNPs in genes such as IL-23R, IL-17A, IL-21, IL-12RB1, STAT4, and IL-12A was performed.
