In this study, we developed and validated with pyrosequencing, a model of SNP detection on Hepatitis A virus with NGS. Point mutations in serially passage HAV HM175 clone 1 strain cultured in FRhK4 cells and a wide type HM175 positive stool sample were investigated. This project will be helpful for identifying potential multiple viruses (quasispecies) contamination on a single food item.
