We developed nanopore-based cappable-seq (ONT-cappable-seq) to sequence the full-length primary transcriptome of phages infecting Pseudomonas aeruginosa. This approach enabled us to pinpoint key regulatory features of phage LUZ7, including transcription start sites, termination sites and complex operon organizations.
