In previous studies, microcurrent electrical nerve stimulation (MENS) has been also used for pain control and muscular growth, but no literatures study the effects and mechanisms of MENS for DM management. Here we analyzed the effect of MENS and MENS mechanisms using phenotype data and omics data of mouse animal model. The results showed MENS regulated diabetes-related pathways to lower blood glucose. Mice were seperated to three groups: control, STZ, STZ+MENS mice. STZ mice were treated with MENS for 6 consecutive weeks. RNA was perpared from liver and analyzed through microarray which was performed by Phalanx Biotech Group Inc. using Phalanx Mouse OneArray® v2 technology (MOA 2.1).
