# Supply Chain Disruption & Recovery Analysis

## 📊 Project Overview
This project explores a dataset of 100,000 supply chain disruption events. The goal is to identify key factors influencing financial loss and recovery time.

### Key Insights from EDA:
* **Costliest Disruption:** Cyber Attacks result in the highest average revenue loss.
* **Production Impact:** There is a strong correlation (0.76) between disruption severity and production impact.
* **Outliers:** Significant outliers were found in financial loss and recovery days. We decided to keep them as they represent critical "Black Swan" events essential for risk assessment.

## 🛠️ Data Handling
* **Cleaning:** No missing values or duplicates were found.
* **Normalization:** All dates were parsed into datetime objects.
* **Visualizations:** Boxplots were used for outlier detection, and Heatmaps for correlation analysis.
