Dataset for Assandri et al. Toward the next Common Agricultural Policy reform: determinants of avian communities in hay meadows reveal current policy’s inadequacy for biodiversity conservation in grassland ecosystems. Journal of applied ecology.

The dataset includes two spreadsheets:

1) the site by species matrix used for the
community composition analysis;

2) the breeding species richness, the meadow
specialist species number and the environmental variables for each landscape
units. The landscape unit centroid coordinates (on which spatial predictors
were based) are also given.
