Macro data for Germany on NUTS1-level 2008-2016, collected for the SOLIKRIS project

The data has been collected within the context of the work package 2 of the Solikris research project (Change through crisis? Solidarity and desolidarization in Germany and Europe). It contains macro data on the NUTS2 level for Germany on various topics: GDP, export,unemployment and number of employees and self-employmed people, grand coalition as federal state government or not, urban population and population density, number of asylum seekers, crime statistics and right wing offenses, number of citizen of catholic faith and a year variable. The respondent’s identification number of the European Social Survey (ESS) and the ESS round variable are included in order to be able to merge it easily with the ESS dataset.
