Anonymized dataset on Pilates practice, bowel habits and autonomic dysfunction
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains anonymized participant-level data from a cross-sectional exploratory study investigating associations between Pilates practice, bowel habits, stool consistency, lifestyle factors and autonomic dysfunction symptoms in adult Pilates practitioners in Brazil. Data were collected through online questionnaires and include sociodemographic variables, Pilates practice characteristics, Bristol Stool Form Scale responses, bowel habit variables, COMPASS-31 autonomic symptom scores, sleep duration, work hours and related health/lifestyle information. The dataset was used to conduct Classification and Regression Tree (CART) analyses exploring hierarchical and nonlinear patterns among Pilates-centred, bowel and autonomic outcomes. Direct identifiers were removed before deposition. Participants are identified only by anonymized alphabetical codes. Dates of birth were converted to age in years, and personally identifiable information such as names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, timestamps and open-text identifiers were removed or recoded. The file also includes a README, codebook, categorical coding key and a list of excluded columns.
