Goodness-of-fit statistics for the forest cover and fragmentation logistic models generated for ten herbs and six ferns inhabiting forest understories in Peninsular Spain.

For each plant group, the species have been ranked according to decreasing AUC* values. The logistic models of the first five seed plants and four ferns (in bold) met all three goodness-of-fit criteria described in the Methods (i.e. a Chi-squared’s p-value <0.05, AUC ≥ 0.7 and McFadden’s ρ2 ≥ 0.2) and were selected for testing the fragmentation threshold hypothesis. *AUC = Area Under the Receiver Operating Characteristic Curve Goodness-of-fit statistics for the forest cover and fragmentation logistic models generated for ten herbs and six ferns inhabiting forest understories in Peninsular Spain.
