66 independent Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) sequencing experiments were chosen for test data. The raw FAST5/POD5 data of these experiments were randomly downsampled to 10,000 reads and following basecalled to 514 FASTQ files with 15 distinct combinations of flowcell types and basecaller configurations. Basecalling was carried out using Guppy versions 2.3.7, 4.5.4 (FAST and HAC mode), Guppy 6.4.6 (FAST, HAC, and SUP mode), and Dorado 0.4.1 (FAST, HAC, and SUP mode). 17 samples failed to run Guppy2 basecalling due to compatibility issues.
