The CIMH-NP-3 cell line and its derivatives (with lentiviral integrations of the WT tau or PHP tau genes) were sequenced using Pacific Biosciences (PacBio) high-fidelity (HiFi) long-read sequencing and Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) long-read sequencing in order to fully reconstruct the sequence of the chromosome 21 and Y centromeres. The resulting long-read sequencing data was assembled with either Verkko v1.1 or hifiasm v0.19.1 to generate whole-genome assemblies.
