SEM micrograph dataset of Pollen for AI-based species identification

This dataset contains scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images of pollen grains collected from six plant species and was created for artificial intelligence-based classification studies. The dataset comprises a total of 960 SEM images, with 160 images assigned to each class. The included taxa are Echinops spinosissimus subsp. bithynicus, Centaurea solstitialis, Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Cichorium intybus, Cota tinctoria, and Helianthus annuus. All images are provided in TIF format in order to preserve the original SEM image quality and avoid compression-related information loss.
