HRMTA Hourly 2m Temperature Dataset for Poland - 1 km (February-May 2026)

This dataset consists of hourly gridded 2-meter temperature maps at a 1 km grid resolution, produced by the HRMTA (High-Resolution Mesoscale Temperature Analysis) open-source model. It features a high temporal completeness of 94% and contains 2,714 hours of data. The dataset covers the date range from February 1 to May 31, 2026. Each timestamp folder includes a temperature field and a prediction uncertainty raster, both provided in GeoTIFF format under the EPSG:2180 CRS. To train the model, a mixture of observational and environmental data was used, drawing from approximately 1,200 weather stations across observation networks such as IMGW-PIB, TraxElektronik, and eDWIN. From v1.4.0 onwards, the model additionally uses data from NWPs as an input during its predictions. Note: Some files within the dataset may deviate from the standard hourly interval, particularly during periods of operational instability or during specific weather events. Perfect continuity of files within the dataset is not guaranteed.
