This data set contains:
Figure 1 - Two backscatter electron (BSE) images of two microstructural states of the superalloy used for EDX analyses. Both alloys were annealed at 930°C for 900h starting with either a solution annealed + precipitation-hardened state (SA+PH) or a solution annealed + cold-rolled state (SA+CR). Each file in this dataset is named as follows: Alloy name_Initial heat treatment state_Temperature of annealing_Duration of annealing.
Figure 2 - Montage of 176 BSE images of a superalloy (in the SA+PH state) aged at 930°C for 3000h. This montage was used to segment the bright σ-phase.
Figure 3 - BSE image centered on a single grain of a superalloy aged at 930°C for 3000h. This BSE micrograph was used to segment the γ’-phase.
Figure 4 - This folder contains an Origin file (.opju) with the element concentrations at the γ/γ’-interfaces of the precipitation-hardened (SA+PH) state, obtained by APT measurements. Additionally, the isoconcentration profile obtained at 52at.% Ni is given as a (.tif) file.
