ngpl-india-network: a provenance-separated reconstruction of India's authorised natural gas transmission network
收藏资源简介:
A machine-readable reconstruction of India's authorised natural gas transmissionnetwork, built from the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB)Natural Gas Pipeline Networks register of 31 December 2025. Covers 99 authorised pipelines, of which 37 Common Carrier pipelines form theanalytical scope and 27 admit a node-edge representation. Every variable islabelled as source-derived (Category A), GIS-derived (Category B) oranalytically derived (Category C), so that no reconstructed value can bemistaken for a value printed in the register. Includes 215 automated validation checks, 52 mutation tests of those checks that ship with a re-runnable harness, and five closure proofs reproducing subtotals printed in the source document. The source register and the GeoNames gazetteer are NOT redistributed here.scripts/00a_fetch_source.py and scripts/00b_fetch_gazetteer.py retrieve themand verify them by SHA-256 checksum, so reproduction is unaffected. Source code in scripts/ is licensed MIT; the data files are licensed CC BY 4.0. Version 2.0.1 documents every published column in the data dictionary, adds a validator that tests the dictionary against the published headers in both directions, and fills release metadata that had been left unfilled.
