IMPROVING METHODOLOGICAL SUPPORT FOR DEVELOPING COHERENT SPEECH
收藏资源简介:
The development of coherent speech is one of the central aims of language education because it connects vocabulary, grammar, thinking, memory, social interaction, and academic performance into a single communicative act. A child may know separate words and even produce grammatically acceptable sentences, yet still experience serious difficulty in building a logically ordered, semantically complete, and listener-oriented utterance. For that reason, methodological support for coherent speech should not be reduced to isolated exercises on pronunciation or sentence construction. It should be understood as a structured pedagogical system that includes diagnostic tools, instructional models, narrative and descriptive tasks, visual and verbal scaffolds, teacher guidance, and continuous progress monitoring.
