Applying game theory to badminton strategies
收藏资源简介:
Winning a badminton game depends on many factors such as player’s skills, body strength, psychology, and game planning. To plan a good game, we can use game theory to construct some models and analyze plays. Recently, game theory is usually used to analyze strategies in many sports such as tennis, table tennis, volleyball, base- ball, and American football. In this thesis, we construct some basic-level models for a single badminton game to find the optimal strategies of the players in serving and smashing situations by using game theory. During a badminton game, there may be some strategies which are more or less effective than expected, so we determine partial derivatives to obtain more appropriate strategies. Furthermore, we conduct a survey of badminton players whether they agree on our models.
