Description: This dataset contains EBSD data (.ctf file format) collected on amphibolite (± clinopyroxene, ± garnet-bearing) samples from the Entia dome, central Australia.
Data collection Methods (in brief): EBSD data was collected in 2020 at the University of Minnesota Characterization Facility (multi-user facility), using a JEOL 6500 scanning electron microscope. EBSD data was collected on an Oxford Instruments Symmetry detector; data collection and processing was performed using the AZtec software.
