Transcriptome analysis of chitosan-treated Solanum tuberosum (potato) leaves

Chitosan is a polycationic aminosugar and known to be effective in plant protection via antimicrobial activity and as elicitor of defense. However, the molecular and cellular modes of action of chitosan treatment are not yet understood. This study describes the transcriptomic changes of S. tuberosum leaves after treatment with chitosan in comparison to water-treated leaves.
