================================================================================Data and Code for: "Hydraulic fracturing experiments based on acoustic emission reveal multi-stage nucleation"================================================================================ Last updated: March 1, 2026 Corresponding Author: Shaojiang Wu (wushaojiang@mail.iggcas.ac.cn)Authors: Jianghao Lin, Shaojiang Wu, and Yibo Wang This archive contains the data and plotting scripts required to reproduce the main figures in the manuscript "Hydraulic fracturing experiments based on acoustic emission reveal multi-stage nucleation". --------------------------------------------------------------------------------CONTENTS-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This archive is organized as follows: - AE_catalog.xlsx: Microsoft Excel spreadsheet containing the catalog of 409 located acoustic emission (AE) events. - focal_mechanisms.csv: Comma-separated values file containing the source mechanism solutions for the 58 high-quality AE events. - pore_pressure.xlsx: Microsoft Excel spreadsheet containing the inverted pore pressure results and their uncertainties for the 58 events. - figure1/: This folder contains the data and MATLAB script (`plot_figure1.m`) to generate Figure 1 in the main text. - figure2/: This folder contains the data and MATLAB scripts (`plot_figure2.m`, etc.) to generate Figure 2 in the main text. - figure3/: This folder contains the data and MATLAB scripts (`plot_figure3.m`, etc.) to generate Figure 3 in the main text. - figure4/: This folder contains the data and MATLAB scripts (`plot_figure4.m`, etc.) to generate Figure 4 in the main text. - README.txt: This file. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------CODE AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The plotting scripts were written in MATLAB R2022b. To run the scripts, please open them in MATLAB and ensure that the corresponding data files are in the same directory or in the MATLAB path.
