Random Repetitive Sequence with Mutations

This dataset comprises sequences containing mutations and randomly repeated regions, generated to analyze the behavior of k-mers with respect to minimizers and Gaussian convolution. Special focus is placed on scenarios involving repeated sequences. During the experiments, we scanned over the range of repeat lengths from 1 to 30, with a fixed mutation rate of 10%. Key measured quantities in the experiments include the average distance and density of minimizers. The dataset has a sequence length of 1007 and a k-mer size of 8. The task is to verify theorems related to k-mers and minimizers through numerical simulations.
