The data is sourced from the World Banks World Development Indicators (WDI), the worlds most-cited reference for global development data, covering over 1,400 indicators across 21 topics. The dataset has been repackaged and normalized, with records having no observed value filtered out, years normalized to integers, and values coerced to float64. Indicators include trade in services (% of GDP), domestic credit to private sector (% of GDP), new business density, new businesses registered, average time to clear exports through customs, time to obtain an electrical connection, firms experiencing electrical outages (% of firms), firms using banks to finance working capital (% of firms), and more. The schema includes columns for indicator_id, indicator_name, country_iso2, country_iso3, country_name, year, value, unit, and obs_status. It is suitable for tasks such as tabular classification, tabular regression, and time-series forecasting.
