Shark Bay Amphibolis antarctica defoliation follwing 2011 marine heatwave and Wooramel River flood

Data on Amphibolis antarctica biomass in the eastern embayment of Shark Bay, Western Australia from 2011-2013. Supporting data on environmental conditions (sea surface temperature and river flow) over similar time period. Data is significant as it indicates a short term loss of seagrass leaf biomass, followed by a longer term loss of seagrass belowground biomass, suggesting that the 2011 WA marine heatwave and Gascoyne floods contributed to reduce resilience in Shark Bay's foundation species.
