Profiling palmitoyltransferase ZDHHC4-interacting proteins by TurboID-mediated proximity labeling strategy

We performed proximity labeling by fusing TurboID to the C-terminus of ZDHHC4, which selectively biotinylates the near-neighbor proteins of ZDHHC4 when treating cells with exogenous biotin. The resulting biotinylated proteins were subsequently enriched using streptavidin-conjugated beads and subjected to on-bead digestion with trypsin for LC-MS/MS analysis.
