资源简介:
Inulin serves as a natural storage cabohydrate in many plants including onion, wheat, banana, leek, garlic, chicory and Jerusalem artichoke. Inulinases can hydrolyse inulin into fructose and glucose which has been received attention for its industrial use. Microorganisms are the best source for producing inulinases because of their easy cultivation and efficient enzyme production. Penicillium subrubescens is a new fungi species that has recently been isolated and found to be an efficiently inulinase producer. To understand the genetic mechanism contributing to the polysaccharide especially inulin degrading, the genome of the strain Penicillium subrubescens (CBS 132785) was sequenced and annotated.
