Multiphase flow cuttings transport for non-settling flow in annulus: Data in Brief
收藏资源简介:
The uploaded Excel file contains a comprehensive dataset of thirteen non-dimensional parameters (Π₁–Π₁₃) derived from controlled annular flow-loop experiments on solid–liquid and multiphase cuttings transport. The dataset is organized to facilitate reuse for scaling analysis, model development, validation of numerical simulations, and data-driven studies. Each row in the dataset corresponds to a unique experimental operating condition, defined by a specific combination of flow rate, fluid rheology, pipe rotation speed, inclination, and solids loading. The columns represent non-dimensional groups constructed from measured physical quantities such as pressure, velocity, density, viscosity, surface tension, gravity, and geometric parameters. These non-dimensional parameters collectively capture the dominant physical mechanisms governing cuttings transport, including inertial, viscous, gravitational, interfacial, and rotational effects. The dataset includes the following non-dimensional parameters: Π₁ (non-dimensional pressure), Π₂ (inclination), Π₃ (eccentricity), Π₄ (liquid-to-mixture velocity ratio), Π₅ (solid-to-mixture velocity ratio), Π₆ (Froude number), Π₇ (Weber number), Π₈ (Archimedes number), Π₉ (characteristic diameter ratio), Π₁₀ (rotation parameter), Π₁₁ (Reynolds number), Π₁₂ (Taylor number), and Π₁₃ (gravity-to-inertia ratio). All parameters are dimensionless and were computed consistently across all experimental cases.
