A resequencing dataset used to investigate patterns of Wolbachia infection in European butterfly sister-species pairs

Illumina paired-end libraries were generated for 18 pairs of butterfly sister-species, comprsing all families in the continent (except Riodinidae) and a wide range of life histories and traits, in order to investigate patterns of Wolbachia infection and transmission across species.
