The application of biochar and bioorganic fertilizers (BOF) in agriculture has garnered increasing interest recently. However, changes to the rhizosphere soil microecology after applying biochar and BOF to saline-alkali soil remain largely unexplored. In this study, we investigated the effects of single biochar addition and the combination of biochar with different addition rates or particle size and BOF on saline-alkali soil by altering the rhizosphere soil microecology using Illumina-based sequencing of the 16S rRNA gene fragment.
