Fading Rock Art Landscapes: evaluating the database in rock-art landscape research

This archive has been created to disseminate the results of a research project which aimed to assess the rate and nature of degradation of prehistoric rock-art through a combination of visual and microscopic analytical techniques and accumulated observation. Data within the archive relates to on an example of prehistoric rock art on Rombalds Moor in West Yorkshire. Data available consists of JPG images that sit alongside an article which gives more background to the project. The research was carried out by a team at the University of Durham and funded through the British Academy.
