资源简介:
Plant-based silicon rich soil amendments are a sustainable strategy to decrease rice grain concentrations of inorganic arsenic, but use of these plant based amendments has the potential to influence the microbial community by increase organic carbon, nutrients, and/or electron acceptors. We surveyed the 16S rRNA genes from twelve rice paddies treated with rice husk, rice char, calcium silicate, or untreated control from three biospheres (plaque, rhizosphere, and bulk) and five timepoints over the rice growing season. These data provide an understanding of how silicon amendments influence the soil microbial community, how the rice root microbiome progresses over time, and which organisms are present in the iron plaque at the root surface.
