Preprocessed Wind and Solar Potential

All NetCDF files we create have the following global attributes:

ds.attrs[‘SOURCE’] = [the name of the program (.R or .py or .ipynb file) you used to create the file]

ds.attrs[‘AUTHOR’] = [the person who created the file]

ds.attrs[‘DESCRIPTION’] = [a short description of the file]

Filenames follow the following format: 

[variable name]_[frequency]_[model name]_[experiment name]_[ensemble number]_[timeframe]_[optional descriptive suffix].nc

Variables:

wpp: wind power potential

spp: solar power potential
