This web map illustrates the Hispanic Distribution of Florida by county. The map is symbolized by the most prevalent Hispanic origin group in each county. In demography, prevalence ranking is a method used to measure and illustrate racial and ethnic diversity in a population through tables and maps. This method identifies the largest, second largest, and third-largest racial or ethnic groups within a specific area. The U.S. Census Bureau employs Prevalence Ranking/Mapping to highlight the most common racial and ethnic groups in an area. This approach provides a clear visualization of the diverse origins within the Hispanic community. This web map is embedded within the Florida Counties Prevalence Analysis Dashboard.
