The RINGS dataset was developed by the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Rutgers University, focusing on high-resolution spectroscopic imaging studies of 19 nearby spiral galaxies. Using these data, researchers aim to gain in-depth insights into the internal structures and cosmological evolution of these galaxies, while verifying the predictions of the ΛCDM model regarding the mass distribution of these galaxies.
