Replication data for: Gender Gaps in Turkish Economics Research

This deposit contains the data and R scripts used in the paper "Gender Gaps in Turkish Economics Research" (Taşçı, 2026). The dataset covers 667 economists registered in Turkey-related IDEAS/RePEC sources, with 18,834 paper-author records spanning 1980–2025. It includes author-level bibliometric data, paper-level records with JEL classification codes, and gender coding files based on the Özturk (2016) Turkish name-frequency dictionary. Six parallel R scripts reproduce the full pipeline from data collection to analysis. See README.md for full documentation of all files, variables, and replication instructions.
