This dataset is the assessment results of the paper “Future increase in aridity drives abrupt biodiversity loss among terrestrial vertebrate species” (under review) authored by Xiaoping Liu, Renyun Guo, Xiaocong Xu*, Qian Shi, Xia Li, Haipeng Yu, Yu Ren, and Jianping Huang. Four assessment indicators, i.e., exposure magnitude, exposure number, exposure abruptness, timing of abruptness, are available for the SSP5-8.5, SSP2-4.5, and SSP1-2.6 scenarios.
