Carbonate system parameters (pH, TA) and metadata (S,T,P) measured by BORAbox #6 offshore Trinidad during ROV deployments onboard the commercial vessel 'Seven Seas' operated by Subsea7 from 6th December 2024 to 20th March 2025.

Through BORA Blue Ocean Research Alliance, scientists at the National Oceanography Centre (NOC) and engineers from Subsea7 have integrated novel sensors (BORAbox) onto a Hercules work class ROV on the Seven Seas vessel. The BORAbox measures carbonate system parameters during Subsea7 ROV operations. The BORAbox consists of NOC total alkalinity (TA) and Clearwater Sensors pH lab-on-chip microfluidic sensors and a MIDAS CTD to provide temperature, salinity and depth measurements. Data were collected in the North Atlantic Ocean offshore from Trinidad from 6th December 2024 until 20th March 2025 by BORAbox #6. Positional information was provided by the ROV.
