Thiophanate methyl significantly lowered the weight of fifth-instar larvae of silkworms.One thousand and four o three differentially expressed genes were identified in the thiophanate methyl. Transcriptomic analysis showed that the toxicity of thiophanate methyl to silkworm might be through proxisome pathways.
