Comprehensive Dataset of Fusion Therapy Using ARMin 5 Rehabilitation Robot: Electromyography and Kinematic Data from Able-Bodied Individuals and Stroke Patients

This dataset contains synchronized muscle activity data (Electromyography, EMG) and arm angle measurements (acquired using the Optitrack System) from two separate studies: the Able-Bodied Participant Study (84-04) and the Stroke Patient Study (05, 06, 07). The dataset is organized by different study movements and conditions, capturing detailed information on each movement repetition.

For each movement, the dataset provides synchronized EMG data (which reflects muscle activity) alongside the corresponding arm angle data (which records the position of the arm during the movement). This data was collected across various repetitions, offering a comprehensive look at how muscle activity and arm movement angles change over time, under both typical (able-bodied) and impaired (stroke patient) conditions.

The dataset is structured to facilitate analysis of both group-specific patterns and movement-specific dynamics, supporting research into motor control, rehabilitation, and the effects of stroke on movement coordination.
