The dataset contains the supporting data for the results of the numerical analyses presented in Chapters 2- 5 of the dissertation. The data is organized according to the Chapter numbers and the Figure numbers as defined in the dissertation. The objective of this research was to construct a reduced-order nonlinear aeroelastic model for investigating large deflection behaviour in aircraft wings. To this end, the work was carried out with the following steps - construction and validation of a structural reduced-order model (ROM) for nonlinear static and dynamic analyses, coupling of the structural ROM to an aerodynamics model and numerical validation of the coupled model. The results include nonlinear static analyses using the structural ROM (Chapter 2), large amplitude dynamic analyses using the ROM (Chapter 3), nonlinear static and dynamic analyses of a benchmark wing model (Chapter 4) and finally, the results from nonlinear aeroelastic studies (nonlinear static aeroelastic, flutter and limit cycle oscillations) obtained from the coupled model, presented in Chapter 5. All of the stored data has been generated using the numerical model developed in the research. The data files include MATLAB data files and codes for plotting the results.
