Quality-controlled snow-air-ground temperature data in Valdez, Alaska (seasonally frozen ground) from 2009 to 2023

This dataset contains time-series data of snow, air and ground temperatures observed at seasonally frozen ground sites in Valdez, Alaska from 2009 to 2023. The temperatures were measured by HOBO loggers (U12, UX120-006M) and sensors (TMCx-HD), Onset Computer Corporation. The sensors were set vertically at multiple depths and heights on a PVC pole installed at the observation sites. For the period between 2009 and 2012, the equipment was installed only to cover the snow seasons, however, after 2014 it was permanently installed and observed to cover the summer seasons. The quality of this dataset has been processed for quality control on failures, i.e., missing, erroneous (physically implausible), and suspicious data (of mechanical or operational reasons), and on special attributions (e.g., under snow cover). Failure data within the installation periods were marked by -999., and attributions are flagged and annotated in the remarks. The dataset was published through the Arctic Data archive System and made available for non-commercial use.本数据集涵盖2009年至2023年美国阿拉斯加州瓦尔迪兹地区季节性冻土站点所观测得到的积雪温度、气温与地温时序数据。本次观测的温度数据由Onset Computer Corporation生产的HOBO数据记录仪（HOBO loggers，型号U12、UX120-006M）及TMCx-HD型传感器采集获得。传感器被垂直安装于观测站点架设的PVC杆上，布设了多组不同埋设深度与安装高度的测点。2009年至2012年期间，设备仅在积雪季部署运行；2014年起设备改为永久部署，可覆盖夏季观测时段。本数据集已完成全流程质量控制，涵盖故障数据处理与特殊属性标注两类工作：故障数据包括缺失值、物理意义不合理的错误值，以及因机械故障或运维问题产生的可疑数据；特殊属性例如积雪覆盖下的观测数据。部署时段内的故障数据以-999.进行标记，特殊属性已通过备注字段完成标记与说明。本数据集通过北极数据档案系统（Arctic Data archive System）发布，仅可用于非商业用途。
