RNAseq - Planococcus citri male and female

RNAseq data collected from male and female citrus mealybugs in the nymphal and adult stages. This study was conducted in order to see how gene expression differs between sex and life stage in this species. This is relevant as males of this species have a form of whole genome imprinting (paternal genome elimination) where they silence all the genes inherited from the father. Therefore, males and females are likely to have extremely sex-biased gene expression.
