The core layers in this product are street centerlines, address points, and Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) boundaries which form the backbone of the Next Generation 9-1-1 Call Routing System. This dataset facilitates Tennessee’s participation in the National Address Database and is also used to support many other mapping and geocoding requirements at the state and federal level.
