Mitochondrial antiviral signaling protein (MAVS, IPS-1) acts as an adaptor linking RIG-I (also known as retinoic acid-inducible gene I protein RIG-1 or DExD/H-box helicase 58, DDX58) and MDA5 (IFIH1) to downstream molecules that activate TBK1 and IKKi (Kawai et al, 2005; Seth et al, 2005).
线粒体抗病毒信号蛋白（MAVS，IPS-1）充当适配器，将RIG-I（亦称视黄酸诱导基因I蛋白RIG-1或DExD/H框螺旋酶58，DDX58）与MDA5（IFIH1）连接至下游分子，从而激活TBK1和IKKi（Kawai等，2005；Seth等，2005）。
