Mean relative abundance (Mean RA), Standard deviation (SD), and Standard error of the mean (SEM) were calculated for the top 10 phyla and families for pangasius monoculture and polyculture systems; tilapia monoculture and polyculture system; and for pangasius and tilapia (only for those ponds where single species was maintained). Kruskal-Wallis tests were performed using the relative abundance of each phylum/family to compare the difference between groups, with relative abundance values calculated for each phylum/family within each sample. ns = not-significant, *: p-value < 0.05; **: p-value < 0.01; ***: p-value < 0.001; ****: p-value < 0.0001.
